Cách chọn Features
Biểu đồ này thể hiện nhiều xu hướng đa dạng: tăng, giảm, và ổn định. Ngoài ra ta dễ thấy danh mục film club có giá trị cao nhất, hơn hẳn phần còn lại của hình, trong xuyên suốt thời kỳ.
Thứ tự đọc hình vẽ
Như thường lệ ta đi xuôi theo dòng thời gian (trái sang phải) là dễ nhất. Ngoài ra, bài này tụi mình cũng chia 5 danh mục đề cho thành 2 nhóm: table tennis và musical performances đi chung (nhóm tăng) và các danh mục còn lại đi chúng.
Cách viết chi tiết
Câu 1: Số liệu của amateur dramatics giảm liên tục tới cuối thời kỳ.
Câu 2: Số liệu của film club thì lại luôn cao nhất và đã đạt đỉnh tại 1 thời điểm.
Câu 3: Số liệu của martial arts thì lại khá ổn định, chỉ dao động nhẹ.
Câu 4: Ngược lại với các danh mục trên, số liệu của table tennis tăng lên gấp mấy lần.
Câu 5: Số liệu của musical performance cũng tăng rõ rệt, vượt qua số liệu amateur dramatics vào gần cuối thời kỳ.
Thông thường tầm 6 tới 8 câu là đẹp cho phần Thân bài Task 1, tuy nhiên chúng mình sẽ dùng 5 câu với các cấu trúc nâng cao nên về độ dài, độ chi tiết là xêm xêm với 6 câu. Bỏ vào 2 đoạn, ta có Thân bài 1 (câu 1-3) và Thân bài 2 (câu 4-5).
Cách diễn đạt
Ngoài chọn ý đúng, chúng mình cũng để ý đến cách diễn đạt sao cho có sự linh hoạt và độ chính xác cao.
Một vài chỗ có thể paraphrase từ đề bài nhanh gọn lẹ:
- graph -> chart: biểu đồ
- gives information on -> depicts
- participants -> people taking part in …
- the number of participants -> participation

Ngoài ra chúng mình cũng dùng các cấu trúc nâng cao, lấy từ các bộ Cửu âm chân kinh trong các khóa học tại IPU:
